My name is Christophe Robert Hervouët.
I was born in New Caledonia and raised in Australia, two places that shaped the way I see the world. Photography came into my life later than expected, but it quickly became essential. I am self-taught, learning through observation, experimentation, and mistakes.
Now based in Nouméa, photography is my way to slow down. It helps me meditate, stay present, and notice the quiet details of everyday life.
This blog is a personal space to share images that helped me pause and moments that asked me to look a little longer.
Thank you for being here.
